The June 2002 issue of Geospatial Solutions magazine includes a column by Jonathan Lowe reviewing open source GIS technology, discussing Refractions' PostGIS/PostgreSQL open source spatial database. Lowe highlights a City of Boston application which uses PostGIS and Mapserver to provide online access to propery assessments.
